I recently started upgrading my knives to R.H. Forschner by Victorinox. I didn’t continue with the block from my old set because the large 8′ Chef’s knife did not fit properly. I was concerned that someone might inadvertently cut himself/herself. I assumed (correctly) that my new Victorinox knives would fit this particular block would. In fact I just noticed that there is Forschner by Victorinox set that includes this block plus the knives. In the end I am happy with this knife storage block. It is stylish and very functional.
